A renowned litigator, Simon has represented clients in precedent setting cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. His innovative work drove online technology businesses to do more to protect the copyrights owned by the music and film industries and the trademark rights owned by brands such as Cartier and Mont Blanc.

In 2012, building on his experience and recognizing the need for a global, multi-platform approach to protecting rights online, Simon led on Wiggin’s creation of Incopro (a Corsearch company). He teamed up with experts in rights protection software and criminal investigation to track and prevent brand misuse and consumer harm.

Simon is ranked as one of the top trademark lawyers in the world. He has been recognized with a number of awards, including the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards, Managing Intellectual Property Awards and Legal Week Awards.

He manages teams in London and Shanghai, dealing with copyright and trademark matters globally. His team received the World Trademark Review award for the Sports, Media and Entertainment team of the year 2020, and the European Trademark Team of the Year at the EMEA Managing IP Awards in 2022. Anna-Lena Wolfe

Sr IPR Legal Counsel

Anna-Lena has 25 years of experience in prosecuting and enforcing Trademark and other intellectual property rights. She is currently managing the IPR portfolios of EF Education First, Hult International Business School, Cultural Care and its associated businesses.

Part of her responsibility is to develop and implement strategies to efficiently mitigate online challenges to the brands and businesses. Anna-Lena has been working with Corsearch and, the previous Yellow brand for almost 15 years, in her current role and previous employment.

Sheena’s role at Lipsy Ltd, also known as Lipsy London, is incredibly diverse. Lipsy is owned by Next Plc and thus has a strong foundation, but with very different Brand Protection issues.

Sheena assists in managing the IP portfolio with a focus on trademarks, managing the domain name portfolio and ‘dot’ brand, and is the company gatekeeper for Brand Protection enforcements, cases, and aspects of online presence.
